How Do You See Your Future?

The future is called ‘perhaps,’ which is the only thing to call the future. And the important thing is not to allow that to scare you. Tennessee Williams.

Globalization and the IT revolution have changed everything. Time and distance have collapsed. The consumers’ thirst for what’s new seems insatiable. Markets are changing faster than ever.

As you ponder your future, searching for answers and the right direction, here are seven questions for your consideration:

  1. How strategic is your thinking?
  2. What is the one thing, the one thing that you do best?
  3. How open and adaptable are you to change?
  4. Are you making the best use of the social media strategies and tools for your business?
  5. How broad is your world view?
  6. How hard are you prepared to work?
  7. What is the single most significant action you need to take, right now, to move ahead?

The future is arriving daily. All we can really know about is that it will be different. Ready or not, it isn’t always going to be easy, but hey, who said it was?
