Who is encouraging you?

mark_twain_250

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. When you are seeking to bring big plans to fruition, it is important with whom you regularly associate. Hang out with friends who are like-minded and who are designing purpose-filled lives. Similarly, be that kind of friend for your friends.” Mark Twain.

Timeless advice given long ago and ever more relevant today. Life can be hard. Each of us needs as much encouragement as we can get. A smile instead of a frown, a pat on the back instead of a raised eye brow, a “you can do it” can work wonders.

Who is encouraging you? Why not stop for a moment and say “thanks, I really appreciate your help.”

You will surely brighten their day and yours, too.
