Life is a series of ongoing choices, many of which we make early on in life. One of the major decisions we make is how we view life. We can either decide that we are are going too hell in a band basket so there is no point of trying to do good or we can decide that it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and be the best we can be, to help our fellow man and make a difference while we are here.
I fight cynicism. There is no power in it. It is much harder to be positive but nothing of any lasting value was made by a cynic. Cynics are a just bunch of people who aren’t as talented as others, criticizing them because they make them less untalented.
Cynicism will corrode you soul. It makes you hearted-hearted, sucks the joy out of life and make your life thin. Opt, instead, to look for the best in yourself and in others and make a positive contribution.
