Focus On What You Can Do

Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can. John Wooden.

With 2008 and the last great recession fast fading from view, many of the larger companies are experiencing record sales and profits in the global economy but at a local level many smaller and medium size businesses and individual entrepreneurs are still having a difficult time.

In the new economy, individually and collectively, the winners – always hopeful by nature, are those having the courage to change, to adapt to new ideas and views and look beyond the current for new possibilities.

That means moving out of comfort zones, being honest and throwing out what doesn’t work anymore – not dwelling on past successes but instead focusing on what you can do rather than on what you think you can’t.
