Jump Right In!

Throw your dreams into space like a kiteand you do not know what it will bring backa new life, a new love, a new country. Anais Nin.

It has been a strange, sometimes bewildering year. Covid-19 has affected everybody in so many different ways. Exhausted and fed up with social distancing, school closings, work place disruptions and the occasional restrictive lock downs, most are just waiting for it to be over and a return to the new normality, whatever that entails.

Some, though, having been given the time and resources, have paused to reflect upon how they are living and what they are doing with their lives. Could it be, they wonder, have I got it all right and just need to ratchet up my efforts or, perhaps, could I take a different path?

It isn’t over yet but a  major event, like a pandemic will do that to people. It forces everyone to get serious about life. To get crystal clear about who they are, what they’re up to and, most importantly, why.

They wonder, could this just be a half-time break or, perhaps, time for a major change of some sort?

Big questions. They don’t get any bigger. And they are not for everyone.

Change is never easy. And it doesn’t happen overnight. It will inevitably take much longer than expected. And, if you’re going to create something new, there will probably come a time when you are going to have to break out of the way you think and see the world.

Odds are you are going to have to try something you’ve never attempted before. You may even have to go up against people who seem to know better than you do. No matter. Just follow your intuition and do the work.

Sometimes, there’s no other way.

Jump right in. When you’ve gone as far as you can, you’ll know what to do next.

Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay connected.

I hope to see you back here again soon.
