Connect With Nature
Those who dwell, as scientists or laymen, among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. Rachel Carson.
Connecting with nature is important to your health and well being. It helps to release stress, sooth your spirits and sharpen your senses.
It can be a variety of scenarios. Whether you are sitting at the end of a dock up at the lake, on a sandy beach oceanside, in a quiet backyard garden, or on a bench under a tree in a park, plugging into nature affords you an opportunity to set aside your busyness, if even for a short while, to reconnect with yourself and just catch your breath.
After suffering in lock down mode for a year and and a half, it’s especially important this summer to get as much time in nature as we can, to comfort our bodies and souls and begin to restore some sense of balance to our everyday lives.
Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay connected.
I look forward to seeing you back here again soon. And as always, thank you for reading me.
