Take a Different Route To Work.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten. Henry Ford.
In the main, to a greater or lesser extent, much of what we are is the result of our past thoughts, experiences and subsequent actions.
Some are OK with that, but in today’s world, others not so much.
Sometimes we stay in situation, even if we don’t like it, just because it’s comfortable… you know, the proverbial comfort zone.
It is what is, we say to ourselves… until, for whatever reason, it isn’t.
And we experience a deep-seated hunger to do something more, something different.
The premise, of course, is that if you want to do something different, you’ll have to put something different into the mix.
And that requires stepping out of your comfort zone, upping your learning curve, taking a leap of faith and experimenting with risk.
Nothing happens magically. It requires courage, imagination, curiosity, unfailing self-belief, patience and, of course, a lot of work.
The times have changed. Really.
Taking a new direction means changing your perspective, looking at everything in a new and different way… starting with the decision to stop looking back, picturing a brighter future and then, moving into the passing lane… and taking a different route to work.
Hmm…
