The Truth Is The Truth
We all have the right to have doubts about our task and even abandon it occasionally; the one thing we mustn’t do is to forget it. The Fifth Mountain, Paulo Coelho.
It has been a rough couple of years, challenging in so many ways.
The pandemic isn’t over quite yet, but as we get beyond the worst of it, the conundrum facing many is whether to just give full throttle to their current activities or, perhaps, pause for a deep rethink about the arc of their lives and what we doing with our time here.
Big thoughts, I know, but that’s what a pandemic brings with it. Everything has changed. As we begin to adjust to the new realities, there isn’t a better time than now to refresh and, if necessary, repurpose our lives:
All with the aim of staying relevant, engaged and endeavouring to create more peace and balance in our lives.
That means never giving up on yourself, doubling down and turning a blind eye to all the craziness to which we are being constantly subjected.
It means standing up for what you know and believe to be right, regardless of the wave of dishonesty, disinformation and outright lies flooding many of the social media platforms:
Ever mindful of Mahatma Gandhi’s admonition that even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
